Dr Zoe Hutchins is a Specialist General Practitioner (MBBS, FRACGP) who grew up in Buderim and has enjoyed working locally since graduating in 2013. She focuses on finding individualised and practical solutions while applying evidence based medicine. She approaches her patients with warmth and compassion to best understand their circumstances and foster long term care. Her particular interest is in women’s health, including period management, sexual health, family planning choices, and contraception including Implanon and IUD (Mirena) insertion. All procedures are performed with local anaesthetic and mindfulness towards each patient’s experience.
Dr Zoe currently holds additional roles as a Senior Medical Officer in Gynaecology (GPSI) at Nambour General Hospital, and Senior Lecturer for Griffith University teaching and supervising medical students. She obtained her specialist qualification with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2020.
Outside of work, Dr Zoe enjoys reading, gardening and family time with her husband, son and their golden retriever.
*While not able to accept new regular patients, Dr Zoe is available to see new patients seeking IUD insertion, medical termination of pregnancy, and iron infusions (outside of pregnancy).
