View here for the current Queensland Government recommendations.

On Point Family Practice prioritises the health and safety of our patients, carers, and staff. This policy applies to all patients with respiratory symptoms, including patients who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

COVID-19 is a highly infectious respiratory disease responsible for the deaths of millions of people worldwide. Evidence based research shows that COVID-19 vaccines prevent severe disease, hospital admission and death rates.

On Point Family Practice strongly encourages people be vaccinated against COVID-19.

Symptoms of COVID-19

The Australian Government has established respiratory clinics and covid testing facilities to clinically assess people with mild to moderate COVID-19 symptoms (a fever, cough, shortness or breath, sore throat, headache, and tiredness). If you have these symptoms you need to be assessed at a designated COVID-19 clinic for a PCR test OR undergo a Rapid Antigen Test.

There are several locally available pathology providers and government centres for COVID-19 testing available locally.
