Originally from Canada, Dr Kaitlin decided to pursue her medical education at University of Queensland in 2013. As part of her medical training, Dr Kaitlin was placed at Nambour Hospital for a couple of years. The sun, warmth, ocean and beautiful Australian people, convinced her to stay after graduating. After four years of working in the hospital system, including in the Wide Bay Health Service and the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service, Dr Kaitlin decided to follow in her father's footsteps and branch out to community medicine. She achieved fellowship in General Practice after training in Far North Queensland. Dr Kaitlin enjoys all aspects of General Practice including paediatrics, adult medicine, complex medical conditions, chronic disease management, diabetes care, cardiology and palliative care. Outside of medicine, Dr Kaitlin enjoys spending time on the beach with her husband and puppy.
