Dr Helen Chorley

Helen is an experienced GP who has enjoyed calling the Sunshine Coast home since moving here to care for patients in 2014. She values building genuine, trusting relationships with her patients and takes a thoughtful, thorough and caring approach to each consultation. Dr Helen has a special interest in fertility and IVF support and works with Queensland Fertility Group to assist patients through selected procedures.

Helen completed her medical degree through the University of Queensland and went on to complete her specialist general practice training in 2018. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and continues to support rural communities through occasional locum work.

Outside of work, Helen enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors. She participates in a range of sports, including paddling, surf lifesaving, triathlon and cycling.

Helen is also passionate about giving back to the local community through her volunteer work as a surf lifesaver and as a foster carer for animals, primarily orphaned kittens, through Sunshine Coast Animal Refuge.
