Dr Zowie Bailey is an experienced and caring family Doctor. After completing a Bachelor of Biomedical Science degree, Zowie continued her studies with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at the University of QLD.
Zowie then undertook specialist training to achieve a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
After practicing in Outback Queensland for the past five years, Zowie has relocated to the beautiful Sunshine Coast, and is looking forward to caring for new families.
Zowie has a Certificate in Primary Care Skin Cancer Surgery with the University of Queensland.
Special Interests include Children’s and Women’s Health, including fertility assessments, antenatal and postnatal care through to contraception and menopause.
Zowie is trained in Mirena/Kyleena IUD and Implanon procedures, and skin cancer checks and excisions.
Zowie is very experienced in managing complex chronic diseases such as Diabetes, Hypertension, and Heart Disease.
